Tenute Gregu

The story of Tenute Gregu began a long time ago, as since the early 20s of the 20th century in Barbagia, the Gregu family has dedicated itself, for more than ninety years to viticulture, and production of wine both for domestic consumption and sold in bulk in and around the village. Since then, the paths of the family and those of the viticulture temporarily split until 2011, but the bond with the land and the wine has never ended.

The property of Tenute Gregu covers an area of about 50 hectares in the countryside of Calangianus, in Gallura, a unique and uncontaminated context at the foot of Limbara Mountain. The vineyard covers about 30 hectares divided into two large plots. The Vermentino is the main grape variety and occupies about 85% of the vineyard. The decayed granite based soil at 500 m. above sea level, combined with a specific microclimate, make the habitat of our estates ideal for growing grapes, providing   Vermentino with extraordinary nuances, and intense aromas.
