la Contralta

La Contralta is a Gallura winery founded in 2019 producing fine, elegant and long-lived wines, starting from  traditional regional grape varieties. The winery’s philosophy is  minimalist using  sustainable agriculture. The project focuses on the respect for nature, landscape, terroir, and fruit. The name La Contralta comes from the toponym of a small beach close to a vineyard in Palau. La Contralta comprises two different estates: one a few kilometers south of Olbia, in Enas, and one in Palau.

Vermentino di Gallura D.O.C.G. Superiore​

Bright yellow with golden hue, the nose  brings out clear citrus fruits, and  Mediterranean scrub aromas. The palate is well-rounded, thanks to the slight tannic character. Full-bodied and firm white, with a nice almond finish.

Scallop carpaccio, almond, asparagus and apple air

Raw scallop marinated in lemon, toasted almond, freshly seared wild asparagus and a cloud of apple air that gives  the dish a freshness, creating a pleasant balance.
